
The Denver EFT Community is excited to be hosting their first in-person Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) Core Skills endorsed by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
As a Certified Trainer, Supervisor and Therapist in Emotionally Focused Therapy
(EFT), Cindy provides training and supervision to clinicians internationally, including Iran, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Brazil, Australia, as well as across North America and Hawai’i. When not training others, Cindy provides intensive couple therapy and consultation to businesses and organizations such as the Hawai’i Judicial Conference, and Western States Bar Associations Conference to harness the health and productivity benefits of fostering a professional culture of secure connection.
***EFT core trainings are designed for mental health professionals, therapists, counselors and trainees. Participants are required to note their professional affiliation at registration***

8 hour training + 1 hour lunch + two 10 min breaks

Immerse yourself in Emotionally Focused Therapy – a model backed by 30 years of empirical research – through our 24 hour Core Skills training. This is the second step in becoming an ICEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Couple Therapist.
Transform and deepen the way you work with clients to produce real change in every session. The Core Skills series allows therapists to deepen their understanding of EFT and build confidence using EFT interventions with research supported frameworks.
Learning opportunities will include interactive lecture from an ICEEFT Certified Trainer, recorded and live sessions for demonstration and analysis, many different opportunities to practice skills in small groups with supportive helpers from the Denver EFT Community, and information about community resources to further learning.
About the Trainer
Dr. Cindy Goodness Zane is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Born and raised in Hawaiʻi to parents with multiethnic roots, Dr. Zane strongly identifies with her Hawaiian-Japanese ancestries and spiritual faith. She enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, identities, faiths and varied life experiences.
She began her professional life as a trial attorney who discovered that she enjoyed helping people to overcome life challenges and strengthen their relationships. After all, life is less scary and more cherishing when you have close others to share it with.
Dr. Zane is passionate about training more EFT clinicians throughout her home state, supporting the development of EFT clinicians of diverse backgrounds and identities, as well as those who work with diverse populations.
Dr. Zane has provided in person and online EFT trainings across North American and internationally, including Japan, Iran, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, Las Vegas, Oregon, California, Washington, Pittsburgh and Utah. She has also mentored EFT clinicians in Brazil, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as the US and Hawai’i. Additionally, Dr. Zane has presented to the Hawai’i Judicial Conference, Hawai’i State Bar Association, Western States Bar Conference, Williams S. Richardson School of Law and the Office of the Public Defender.
