The Denver EFT Community is excited to be hosting their first Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT) Externship endorsed by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Our two trainers bring a wealth of experience and a particular interest in working with multicultural realities and the impact of marginalization and understanding how it activates our attachment systems and the role of emotional coherence in co/regulating and maintaining health, well-being, and possibly thriving. Both trainers have lived, clinical, research, and publishing experience in these areas and are excited to weave it throughout the training while demonstrating the work via their own clinical work with African-American and LGBTQ+ couples/relationships.
Dr. Guillory is the author of the only text on EFCT with African American Couples while Dr. Allan’s research explores working with the the impact of minority stress on relationships and working with relational diversity.

Emerge empowered and ready for your clients to grow in every session.
Transform and deepen the way you work with clients to produce real change in every session The EFT Externship is our flagship introductory 24- or 28-hour training in Emotionally Focused Therapy
